TCIF receives United Nations consultative status

The Trauma Care International Foundation was present at the High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage which took place on the 23rd of September 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States.The organization was represented by her Senior Executive Officer, Dr. Olajumoke Akisanya and the event was designed as a platform to discuss the underlying barriers that most nations face in accelerating Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Interactive dialogues on the role of UHC in sustainable development, poverty reduction and reducing social inequalities were also promoted among its participants.
