What information does TCIF collect?
Normal website usage
In general, you can browse the TCIF site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. If you register as a user, subscribe to our newsletters, log on to certain TCIF sites, purchase items from our Charity Shop, request information, provide feedback, apply as a volunteer, join an electronic mailing list, you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, postal address and e-mail address. This information is collected only with your knowledge and permission, and is kept in various TCIF databases. If you are purchasing something on the web or donating online, you will be asked to provide your credit card details.

We may also collect Personal Information from you as a result of your email communications with us or your posts which we may retain along with our responses.
As a Campaign participator, you can invite others who are helping you with your project to join the TCIF and your local chapter. We will ask you for this person’s email address and send him or her an email invite to join your team. TCIF collects this email address for the purpose of sending this invite. This person may contact us to request that we remove this information.
Any Personal Information you post as User Content is available to the public without any expectation of privacy or confidentiality. Copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content even if you remove the User Content. Your name and location are publicly displayed in your profile page. To request removal of your personal information from these areas of the site, please contact us. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. The profiles created for you on our site will be publically visible. You may request for a change in the visibility settings of your profile, and the types of information it may disclose, on the “Volunteer Profiles” page, and/or when you take specific actions on the site that provide you the option of anonymity.
When you use our mobile site, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with location based services, search results, and other personalized content. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable location services in the device’s settings menu. For certain TCIF sites, registering or supplying personal information sets a cookie. By setting this cookie, TCIF will remember your details the next time you visit, so you don’t have to re-enter the information. This helps us to provide you with better service.
What does TCIF do with the information it collects?
Normal web usage

What if I don’t want to provide personal information?
Providing personal information on the TCIF web site is optional. If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still browse and use the TCIF site, but you will not be able to carry out certain actions such as purchasing items, subscribing to our newsletter, creating your own fundraiser, or applying as a volunteer.
Opting out and changing your information
At any time, you can cancel or modify your information by returning to the web page where you first provided the information, and contacting the focal point for that page/relevant TCIF department. Where contact details are not provided on the page, you can contact us for further information.
If you desire to change your personal information, you may correct, update, amend, remove, or ask to have it removed by making the change on your user account “Settings” page, by contacting the email address listed below.
If you no longer desire our service, you may deactivate/delete your account entirely from the account “Settings” page, or contact us directly. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Notification, Electronic Communication and Opt-Out
You consent to our using your email address to send you service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. Upon registration, or on other areas of the site, you may opt-in to receive periodic messages from us, including changes to features of the service, newsletters, events, and latest campaigns. How does TCIF share the Personal Information with Third Parties?
We do not sell or share any personally identifiable information volunteered on the TCIF site to any third party without prior consent. We do, however, share some user information with some of our departments so that the whole TCIF family can respond to your needs. Affiliate sites with which user information may be shared include those belonging to the Healing School of Christ Embassy, Volunteer Medical Corps and other LW Inc. websites. How does TCIF store and protect your Personal Information
