First aid and safety education is a critical and necessary investment in teacher education programs.
Trauma Care International Foundation in collaboration with Loveworld Educational Training Institute trained 230 teachers in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area on Child Safety and
First Aid on August 28th, 2019.
These teachers were from 23 primary schools, 3 Home Economics Center and 1 Computer Center, representing over 17,000 Pupils.
The training provided teachers with vital skills and knowledge about Safety and First Aid.
It improved their general skills, and helped them learn ways to better motivate their pupils.
All of which have been shown to result in better student grades, and a higher level of classroom participation.
