TCIF LAUNCHES THE 2025 GLOBAL VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN In Commemoration of World Blood Donor Day – June 14Today, we proudly launch the 2025 edition of our Global Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign, in celebration of World Blood Donor Day, marked globally every year on June 14th. This year’s campaign calls on every individual to “Give Blood. Give Hope.” as we deepen our global commitment to saving lives through voluntary blood donation.

 LIVE ON AIR – LXP Morning Flight Show
Our campaign officially kicked off with an inspiring session on LoveWorld XP where TCIF representatives shared insights on the critical need for voluntary blood donation, debunked common myths, and encouraged viewers to become regular blood donors.

AWARENESS WALK
Volunteers from TCIF and partner organizations stormed the streets—rain or shine—in a spirited awareness walk. Dressed in red and armed with informative placards, they educated the public and inspired many to register as voluntary blood donors.

INTRODUCING A FLAGSHIP CAMPAIGN PROJECT: CAMPUS CRIMSON CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (CCCL) – Nigeria Edition
As part of this global campaign, we are thrilled to unveil a youth-driven innovation: the Campus Crimson Champions League (CCCL) — a nationwide, football-themed blood donation competition across Nigerian universities. CCCL combines the excitement of football and the spirit of campus rivalry to turn hostels, faculties, and student associations into blood donor “teams,” competing to save the most lives.

Theme: Score a Goal, Save a Life!
Target: Over 100 pints per school.
Audience: University students aged 18–30.
Strategy: Football-style branding, donation “match days,” “Pass the Ball” challenges on social media, and a Crimson Cup award for top teamsImplementation begins across campuses in Nigeria starting this June!

The CCCL is set to become a national tradition—mobilizing thousands of students, raising awareness, saving hundreds of lives, and reinforcing the role of youth in driving healthcare solutions.
