About this Campaign

The Power of 10,000 YES

Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF) gladly introduces The Power of 10000 YES CAMPAIGN, YES-meaning YOU ENSURE SAFETY—an innovative community emergency preparedness campaign.

The campaign is aimed at supporting the

recruitment, training, and equipping of 10,000 community volunteers in first aid and performing CPR, including topics such as treating choking victims, dealing with burns, managing household traumas, addressing issues like bleeding, fever and seizures which will in turn ensure the safety of the lives of a potential 1.6 million community members in Nigeria and 3 other African countries.

For every donation of $7, you say YES to training one community volunteer and becoming a vital contributor to this initiative.

This Giving Tuesday, say as many YES as you can and be a part of this life-changing initiative. Join us in making a lifesaving impact, prioritizing community safety, and raising resilient communities across Africa.

OUR WORK AND IMPACT IN 2023

Trauma Care International Foundation is focused on expanding access to trauma care, emergency response services and safe blood supplies through advocacy, health education and community-based programs.

In 2023, the foundation forged strategic partnerships, blazed trails, and extended its reach and international representation such that it directly impacted 5,011,038 beneficiaries. It successfully embarked on large scale recruitment, training, and empowerment of community volunteers as first responders with 37,628 volunteers recruited with a total of 1018 reports of emergencies completed, and lives saved as a result of lifesaving first aid provided by members of the network.

Blood transfusion is an indispensable component of health care and this year, TCIF served as the preferred community donor recruitment partner towards ensuring safe blood supplies in Africa as it executed several voluntary blood drives and recruited 5118 voluntary blood donors.

The foundation also clinched the highly coveted NGO of the year Award at the National Daily Awards this year.
